If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?
Since I’m heavily invested in historical studies –despite the ironical fact that I’m of technical background — i would really love to meet many historical figures from all over the world and want learn how they think and acted in situation as diverse as our history is……………
History has always been a huge pandora box which contains as many secrets as there are truth to it. Why Plato – an ancient Greek philosopher, gave an idea of philosophical king – , why Ashoka – an Almighty ruler of patliputra in India gave up on further conquests and adopted Pacifistic stance – and other such figures and the consequent questions following them……………..
As a proud curious being it is perfectly fine for me to be greedy to say that i don’t want to meet just a single historical figure but a whole bunch of them or simply all of them, about whom I have a tiny bit of information with me…………
History for me is like a whole new world of imagination and historical figures are a way to materialize those imaginations so yes I would love to meet all those historical figures and want to learn about them not about what they did, since it is something that I want decipher myself by keeping myself in their shoes………………..
